There are only a few tables at Stay with Kumpir, but if you make it inside, the very walls will entertain you.
Stay with Kumpir is a tiny Hongdae restaurant with a take-out window and a permanently long wait for tables.
The walls are papered with drawings of famous world monuments and pictures from owner Yong-Jin Park's travels. It's on one jaunt through Turkey that Park developed his taste for kumpirs, or Turkish baked potatos.
Stay with Kumpir offers a classic kumpir, as well as Asian variations, including bulgogi kumpirs and shrimp kumpirs. All are reasonably priced and come with a little salad.
