Travel reminder: IndiGo opens bookings for international flights
Boeing has forecast India will require commercial planes worth US$150 billion in the next two decades to meet the demands of its civil aviation market. Budget airline IndiGo wants to be a big player.On September 1, India's most on-time low-cost airline IndiGo will start international operations.
The five-year-old airline's aggressive move into international airspace has been in the news for a while (read: they've bought billions of dollars worth of Airbus planes) but here's a reminder that bookings are now open.

Add daily flights from New Delhi to Dubai starting September 1; New Delhi-Bangkok from September 8 and New Delhi-Singapore from September 15 to your travel options.
Daily flights from Mumbai to Bangkok and Dubai will take-off on October 2, just in time for the Diwali family holiday season in India.
Initial return fares start at Rs 9,999 (approximately $223) and will compete with Emirates, Singapore Airlines and AirAsia.
