Affordable drinks, dingy but charming venue and non-commercial music mash-ups -- that's why they call it Grime Riot Disco.
The Grime Riot Disco (GRD) event has returned to shake-up Mumbai's "anti-party" scene at the newly hip Cool Chef Café.
This time DJ Ruskin and M.Mat from Bhavishyavani Future Soundz will sound out mash-ups of disco, funk, boogie and techno.
On Friday Kunal Lodhia, one of this party's founders, will also be launching the GRD website at www.grimeriotdisco.com -- a website for party information, party photos and professional advice for people who want to "grimify" their parties, as Lodhia says.
The draw of this dance party is its no-fuss atmosphere, cheap bar and good groovy music.
