Oberoi Udaivilas
Udaivilas was also voted among the 10 best hotels in the world for the third consecutive year by readers of Condé Nast Traveler magazine.

Only 11 hotels made it to Forbes magazine's list of the World's Most Exclusive Hotels this year. One of these was India's very own The Oberoi Udaivilas, a hotel conceived as a traditional Indian palace on the banks of Lake Pichola in the northern city of Udaipur in Rajasthan.

Companions on that list include The Ritz, Paris; Four Seasons, Punta Mita, Mexico; Jade Mountain, St. Lucia and The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa, Capetown, South Africa and others. Read the feature written by Pascale Le Draoulec.

Rajasthan has always been a favorite global tourist destination in India with it's historic forts and palaces, deserts, camel fairs and remnants of royalty. The Oberoi Udaivilas plays to that, offering private courtyards and garden walkways, rippling fountains, reflecting pools, private yoga, meditations and Pranayam sessions in a city steeped in the romance of the historical region of Mewar, the oldest living dynasty in the world.

In October this year readers of Condé Nast Traveler magazine also voted the hotel among the top 10 in the world for the third consecutive year, confirming the property as a traveler favorite.
