InterContinental Marine Drive
The Arabian Sea gets a breathtaking view of the InterContinental Marine Drive's deluxe sea front room.

The InterContinental Marine Drive stands out conspicuously amid a bulwark of Colonial Art Deco peers for its smallish, contemporary exterior. But uniformity and grandeur don't count for a whole hell of a lot when you're standing before one of Mumbai's most stunning sunset views from within one of the InterContinental's Arabian Sea-facing rooms.

Located close to the business and financial districts of Nariman Point and Churchgate, the InterContinental Marine Drive boasts a litany of luxurious add-ons such as 42-inch flat-panel televisions, aromatherapy diffusers, a rooftop swimming pool and even a complimentary welcome massage.

Dining and nightlife options include Kebab Korner (North Indian grills), the trendy vodka lounge Czar, and the alfresco bar Dome, treasured and trafficked by the cities most stylish denizens.

The Marine Drive promenade is a bonus for those who like to start (or end) their day with a brisk walk or run along the waterfront, but do it early -- by late morning, Mumbai and Marine Drive will turn your jog into a fallout drill.
