Under his direction, Bungalow 8 has become known for a quiet sophistication in the racks, be it men's or women's wear.
The spring 2011 menswear collection from Bungalow 8’s fashion line The BUNGALOW showcases Leguillon's talents in their best light -- with some inspiration from street fashion snapper Manou of Wearabout.
The show will include 50 images of Mumbai men that have inspired the collection, across demographics, both local and global.
"It's not who they are or who they're wearing, we're celebrating the individuality of their style," says Bungalow 8 proprietor Maithili Ahluwalia.
"It's the heterogeneity and eclecticism, the eccentricity and effortlessness of Mumbai male street style, where, unlike the streets of other fashion capitals, the local is as much at home as the global," Ahluwalia says.
"It is this out-of-doors meeting ground of post-liberalization Bandra hipsters, fisherman in nylon bush shirts and kitschy floral lungis, sleek gallerists in nonchalant suits, and starched stockbrokers that is subtly reflected in our new menswear collection," she says.
