Mumbai mall rat: What's new at Palladium

Palladium at High Street Phoenix, Lower Parel is a relief compared to other South Mumbai malls because of its extended shopping hours, soothing lighting and valet parking for all visitors, but since it opened and we ran our list of what's good there's been a whole lot of ribbon cutting and cash register ringing.

Design forward: Indigo Deli at Palladium.

The Comedy Store: With international acts rotating on a regular basis this laugh shop has created a nice big splash in Mumbai's entertainment pond.

Indian fashion designers: Ranna Gill, Shantanu & Nikhil, Rohit Bal, Suneet Varma, Anita Dongre and Amber & Shirin represent New Delhi's fashion frat.

Casual restaurants: Indigo Deli by Rahul Akerkar for bistro, Punjab Grill by Jiggs Kalra for North Indian, Asia 7 for Pan Asian and Manchester United Café together with TGIF fulfil the burger and beer craving.

Home style: Danish brand for urban design, BoConcept.

Beauty brands: Estee Lauder, Clinique, MAC, Aromathai, Rendezvous and the Jean Claude Biguine spa.

Just for laughs: The Comedy Store Mumbai.

Coming soon: Armani Café and New Delhi fashion designer Rohit Bal's signature gourmet Indian fusion restaurant Veda. Not to mention one of the world's finest hotels, The Shangri-La which opens next year.
