Melange boutique: Cost for the clothes-conscious

Beneath the guise of a chic clothing boutique, Mélange has been educating consumers across the globe on the beauty of natural, hand-woven Indian textiles for nearly two decades. 

Its dungeonesque brick-and-wood-beam setting is a designer micropolis offering a -- are you ready for this? -- mélange of styles old and new, elegant and kitsch. The shop boasts a measured balance of Indian and Western (but still India-inspired) wear in eco-friendly concepts, as well as lesser known -- but no less amazing -- fashion designers like Anuradha Vakil, Kallol Dutta and Ranji, who can only be found at Mélange. 

 Awful monoplistic for a progressive concern. Must be part of the disguise.
