Last-minute Diwali gifts for with-it Mumbaikars

Le 15 Patisserie has created a Diwali macaroon collection and blue-ribboned boxes.
Overdosing on Diwali mithai already? French-style pastry shop Le 15 Patisserie has launched a rare spiced collection of macaroons especially for Diwali.

Flavors include chocolate and sea salt, cinnamon and white chocolate, star anise and orange.

Run by a trained Cordon Bleu chef, the store also keeps its usual macaroon flavors of chocolate, rose, pistachio, hazelnut, passion fruit, lavender and coffee.

Each macaroon is priced at Rs 65, including tax. Specially designed Diwali boxes contain 12 macaroons.

2. Limited edition Lanvin playing cards

The Lanvin playing cards are gift-wrapped in a similar printed box with a satin ribbon tie.
Kitsch, a multi-label fashion boutique in Kala Ghoda is selling a set of designer playing cards by posh French fashion label Lanvin.

Many people host card parties (called 'taash parties') and play three-card flash (teen patti) during Diwali as it is believed that whoever gambles during the festival of the goddess wealth and prosperity, will prosper throughout the ensuing year.

Launched, just in time for Diwali, the Rs 5,040 limited-edition pack of cards is called "Faces" and features original artistic illustrations by Lanvin's creative director Alber Elbaz

This could also come in handy for future poker games.

3. BlackBerry Diwali app

Download Diwali songs, and reminders of auspicious timings during the five-day festival.
For Rs 99 you can purchase a BlackBerry multi-functioned Diwali application, designed by Nupur audio.

The app will provide reminders for all the auspicious times during the five-day festival.

There's also information about various rituals such as rangoli (color patterns) as well as phone wallpapers and backgrounds.

If your stereo system gets stuck, not to worry -- this app includes Diwali songs to play during pujas.
