TED India: Pranav Mistry's unbelievable 'SixthSense' technology

At TED India in November Pranav Mistry's tech tools caused a stir when he used them to make the point that humans aren't really interested in computers at all

There were some thrilling ideas and people that emerged from the TED India conference, held at the high-tech Infosys campus in Mysore this month.

Among them Pranav Mistry and his bag of technological tools which assist the physical world in interacting with the digital one.

Eight years ago Mistry disassembled his computer mouse and made a motion sensing device out of it, which he attached to his arm so that whatever gestures he made in the physical world were replicated on his screen. That was the beginning.

Eventually he developed this device called the "SixthSense." We won't tell you what it is. Except that it will blow your mind.

They didn't dub this year's TED India conference a "brain spa" for nothing.
