The sexiest Indian cricket team that ever lived

It's unorthodox to compile a list based on looks but these nine gentlemen knock it to the boundary

If the Indian team was decided based on appearances we'd have nine men down the order, not 11.

Down the decades Indian cricket players have been called many things. Heroes, geniuses, cheaters and weaklings.

But good looking, never.

We undertook a time consuming exercise to fuse the dashing, Brylcreem hair and sideburn sporting seventies decade together with the billboard, Bollywood friendly and GQ magazine cover boys of today, and it would seem that although mustaches are out of fashion some style hallmarks are here to stay.

Which our Editor-in-Chief Andrew Demaria was quick to point out, "Look at them," the Aussie said. "Gold chains, open shirts...Oh wait they still do that."

So here is my golden, nine-member fantasy cricket league of good looks.

Although not a Cricket fanatic but being interested in sports i personally feel that 2 well known handsome men of the past decades have been omitted. Salim.Durrani and Karsan.Ghavri although not cricketing greats in terms of "Cricket Statistical records" definitely deserved a place if judged on "LOOKS". Salim.Durrani was one of the first Indian Cricketer to have tried his luck in acting in Hindi fims, a total alien concept in the 1970's. These were some of my sports hero's, although a total "football fanatic".
