It's always nice to put faces to names. Or in this case faces to logos.

CNNGo Mumbai commissioned Design Stack, who live in a sandy, creative corner of Mumbai called Aram Nagar, to design this month's Mumbai Week logo.

The brief was to create "order from chaos," "method in madness," to capture the Mumbai Week tag line: "In Love With The World's Most Chaotic City."

Design Stack co-founder Anoop Patnaik says, "The sensory commotion in Mumbai is probably one of its most salient traits. We tried to represent that with the horn of a rattling auto-rickshaw, the headlights and the bright colors of a Mumbai taxi."

Adds partner Priyanka Bhasin, "Behind all the chaos however, is an inspiring sense of festivity, like a giant, colorful circus. We conveyed that in Design Stack's logo for CNNGo Mumbai Week which is a pure celebration of our city's vibrancy."

Design Stack is a communication design studio in Mumbai started in 2004 by two National Institute of Design graduates, Anoop Patnaik and Priyanka Bhasin. Specialists in identity and interactive media design, they service some of Mumbai's freshest, coolest establishments and people (art galleries, Bollywood stars, hip talent agencies, graphic novels) helping them say what they have to say.
