Zenzi Mills
Gritty describes the Zenzi Mills club culture where it's dark and loud and you just don't mind.

In the city’s first “downtown” club bar, Zenzi Mills, things are hot and hectic. Located around the corner from Blue Frog, the two bars make Lower Parel  the gravitating point for much of the latest Mumbai nightlife activity.

Gritty interiors (think exposed brickwork and industrial ceilings), eclectic music, skilled DJs, a long bar and an artsy stylish clientele keep the vibe going – not to mention the packed salsa nights.

Add to that its tasty Asian bites and Zenzi Mills, like its casual counterpart Zenzi in Bandra, clearly knows how to make loyalists of the crowds. You sense it is good inside, simply by walking past as groups of young people are standing around being generally animated.

On the inside, it's narrow and dark in the corridors. If you want to be utterly shady after dark to some great music this bar is a place that gives you license. In other words, a natural post dinner choice when you're already hammered.

A much needed antidote to the posh downtown nightlife, Zenzi Mills is not trying to be the next Zen-style Buddha Bar, with bland lounge music where everyone's so stiff you'd think they left their sense of humor with the valet.
