Artist T. Venkanna creates his oeuvre, live in a massive Mumbai art gallery.
For seven weeks, Mumbai's Gallery Maskara opens the door between the artist and the viewer.
In this time period entitled "Open Studio: Printmaking", the space turns into an open studio where one can simply walk in and watch artist T. Venkanna at work with printmaking.
The printmaker is an MS University of Baroda grad and was one of 20 artists shortlisted for the SKODA prize in 2010.
In a city with too few public art-at-work initiatives this one's worth a mention.
