A new theory holds that a massive meteor that crashed into India's west coast destroyed every dinosaur on the planet
desi dino deathFact is more entertaining than fiction -- at least when the media hypes it like a Hollywood blockbuster.

The world media has erupted over a theory presented by archeologist Sankar Chatterjee of Texas Tech University to the Geological Society of America in Portland, Oregon on Sunday, suggesting that a 25-mile-wide meteor off the west coast of India may have cause the earth's dinosaur's to go extinct 65 million years ago. The meteor's impact may have created the enormous 'Shiva's Basin' -- named after a Hindu god -- off the coast of India.
