Bollywood can turn even a typical rom-com into an exercise in emotional absurdity
Director Anand L. Rai's "Tanu Weds Manu" is supposed to be your typical nice guy meets bad girl (and everybody wins) type of rom-com. Yes, it's a story that's been done a million times before, but, against all odds, even the most typical storyline can be totally screwed up by Bollywood in oh-so untypical ways, as The Vigil Idiot will shortly illustrate.
