Shah Rukh Khan gets waxed in NYC Times Square
The wax figure of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan has joined Amitabh Bachchan's likeness in Madame Tussauds 'Bollywood Zone' in New York
Bollywood Zone is the name of the brightly-colored, fully-interactive area at Madame Tussauds in New York which includes a replica of the Taj Mahal, a replica of Amitabh Bachchan, videos of authentic Indian dancers and a photo area where visitors can pose as Bollywood stars.
And fake having met them too. Khan's wax likeness, dressed in a sleek black suit and crisp black shirt, is a spitting image.
The Bollywood actor is considered only second to Amitabh Bachchan in terms of mass appeal (especially among older women) and influence. Last year he got his own reality TV show, and is a manic twitterer, with close to 600,000 followers since he joined in January this year.
