'RA.ONE': The Sony PlayStation game
A PS3 video game based on Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming superhero film, will launch before the movie itself
The video game version of the movie is called "RA.ONE The Game" and will launch end September, ahead of the film's worldwide release on October 26 2011.
Appealing to a younger audience, Shah Rukh Khan's film production house is partnering with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe to develop an exclusive PlayStation game for Khan's upcoming superhero movie "RA.ONE" in which -- you guessed it -- he plays the glowing hero with super powers.
In effect, the video game is a prequel to the movie. The game will introduce six key characters and their various super powers in more than 20 game play environments from the "RA.ONE" universe.
As the first major Bollywood film to launch as a video game, which allows players to take on Shah Rukh Khan's character in his voice-over, it's likely to be a winner gift this Diwali when the film releases.
