The Paris Hilton pocketbook to Mumbai
Paris Hilton travels to India for the first time to launch her handbags and accessories line. Paris Hilton, the world's most famous hotel heiress, known for her jet set lifestyle and celebrity status, will be paying a working visit to Mumbai between September 24 and 26.
Hilton's here to launch her handbags and accessories line with Brand Concepts, who also license Tommy Hilfiger and Barbie in India.
The collection will be unveiled at Inorbit Mall in Malad on September 25 where Hilton will greet fans, business partners and media.
"We are very excited to launch the Paris Hilton brand in India, which is the first celebrity lifestyle brand to launch in the country," said Abhinav Kumar, CEO of Brand Concepts.
Since this will be 30-year-old Paris Hilton's first trip to India, we've put together a quick guide for a three-day stay.
This is not just a list of most expensive places but is inspired by what her Tweets tell us she digs.
Partying: Aurus beach-side electro dancefloor

Aurus, known for its packed weekends and posh crowds, would be the perfect spot for Hilton to mingle with Mumbai's most affluent. It's where Madonna hung with B-Town.
This Mumbai nightspot overlooking Juhu beach, hosts great food and the most original electro DJs to rival European standards, playing Deadmaus and David Guetta -- some of Paris Hilton's favorite acts.
Aurus starts Sunday Sundown sessions in October -- though Paris will have left by then.

Shopping: Glitzy Indian designers and boutiques

Eclectic fashion boutique Bombay Electric has a similar concept to Collete in Paris, which Hilton Tweeted she loves.
She would also visit designer Pria Kataria Puri's store in Bandra to pick up more designs like the Pria dress she wore on her show "My new best friend."
"She [Paris] also bought many more of my clothes to wear in Los Angeles -- she loved my collection and had most of the contestants dress in them for her show," says Puri.
Also recommended for Hilton are Indian designers Falguni and Shane Peacock (who have also appealed to Jennifer Lopez and Britney Spears), Bollywood's celebrity fashion designer Manish Malhotra and master couturier Rohit Bal.
Paris Hilton is also a fan of scrapbooking and creating albums for close friends, she says, as well as sketching designs.
We recommend a trip to Chimanlals for hand-crafted papers and The Bombay Store for Indian related home decor, gifts, and stationery.

Dining: Hakkasan for Indian roasted silver cod

Roughly a third of the menu is created from scratch for India, including the edadame dumplings and an Indian-roasted silver cod dish.
There's also a Peking duck with Ossetra caviar on the menu. That's 30 grams of caviar and the dish requires 24 hours of prep time.
Hakkasan's 16-meter back-lit blue bar, and box-like seating enables celebrities to control privacy.
Other famous fans of the Michelin-starred Hakkasan include Beyoncé, Jay-Z and Lady Gaga.
