Brown Paper Bag delivery for CNNGo Mumbai

Shop online: Indie design
Bpb stubbled upon 1. adorable moustache-shaped closet hangers in various silhouettes -- handlebar, walrus, pencil, Dali -- by Red Lion, a division of advertising powerhouse Publicis.
2. Indie brands like Happily Unmarried, Play Clan and Mukul Goyal for instance, we’ve seen loads of times before at city stores Loose Ends, Tappu ki Dukaan and Bliss. The advantage at Quirko, an online knick-knack shop, is you can browse them all in one space, find a few rare pieces from the designers, and have them home delivered and pay cash on delivery.
3. Slate Clocks by mCube Design. Scribble personal messages, reminders and kooky notes by the hour on this adorable black board clock that comes with duster and chalk.
Ogaan: Colaba flagship fashion failure

At first glance, the body of work at Kavita Bhartia’s new Ogaan flagship fashion store in Colaba is disappointingly mundane. The 1,600 square feet of prime real estate is crowded with sequined kurtas by Kiran Uttam Ghosh, Gauri and Nanika ruffles and wisps of chiffon by Nachiket Bharve. Not to miss Bhartia's own collection of embellished jerseys. All of which we've seen before, at Ensemble and Melange and Amara and Zoya, enough times to bore us into a coma. Full bpb review.

California Pizza Kitchen: Life of pie
Notwithstanding our nostalgia, California Pizza Kitchen, brought to Mumbai by the guys behind Hard Rock Café and Shiro, is at par with its international counterparts and makes for a terrific meal. Mediterranean spring rolls, pizzas topped with red curry and tostada strips, linguini in Thai peanut sauce, Kung Pao spaghetti, CPK also offers more sedate options like pasta in red sauce and Margherita pizza, but you’ll find better versions of these at your normal Italian joint. Here, bizarre is your best bet. Bandra Kurla Complex; tel. +91 (0) 22 6558 8888. Full bpb review.
KOH: Kittichai's heavy hand with lemon grass
All slick surfaces and plush leather, KOH at the InterContinental Marine Drive is a sexy restaurant, made sexier by the fact that it is helmed by Ian Kittichai, a celebrity chef with successful projects in New York, Barcelona and Bangkok. Like his other outposts, this one too displays signature orchids at the gate and Thai cuisine on the menu, served up with "an international twist." Molto Bello: Al fresco Italian on Carter Road

In the swelling tide of transient eateries that bob alongside Carter Road, the orange colored, 60-seater Molto Bello offers the best (point of) view -- a panoramic snapshot of the Arabian Sea best experienced during a picture-perfect sunset. And the view isn’t even the best thing on offer at this week-old Bandra pizzeria. The pizza, loaded with fresh tomato sauce and not a lot of cheese -- just the way we like it -- is the star of the show here. Carter Road; tel. +91 (0) 22 26489232. Full bpb review.
