French style patisserie makes Worli weak-kneed

"We are proud to announce that the Le 15 Dessert counter is now open!!!" squeals Mumbai pastry chef Pooja Dhingra on her blog today. Dhingra named her patisserie which she founded in March this year, after a district in Paris where the 23 year-old lived and learned the art of creating French bakery before she brought her talents back to feed her home city.
"Belgian Chocolate Cupcakes and Rose Macaroons [have been] flying off the shelves ever since we opened," she says.
And what's more, from July 1 to 7 Le 15 Kitchen will host Chef Mukul Tanwar who has worked in numerous Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris. The chef will be visiting here through next week, cooking for the underground kitchen club Turning Tables and teaching recipes ranging from fresh pasta to soufflés and white truffle risotto at Le 15.
