Forget chocolates on your pillow, this hotel leaves gifts on the bed that are actually conducive to a good night's sleep

Did anyone really think that sugary, caffeine-rich treats before bed time really made sense? The chocolate before sleep hotel ritual seems on the way out, along with buying CDs and velcro-laced training shoes.
The Langham Place Hotel has done away with chocolates on the pillow and replaced it with a series of complimentary gifts and tips that are actually designed to help promote better sleep. Lavender bath salts, chamomile tea and fragrance sticks are amongst the list of gifts that guests might find after the hotel's turndown service each night.
But what we really love are the tips for acupressure massages (as pictured above) that help relieve jet lag (hold your ear between your middle and index finger while massaging your temples in a circular motion) and send you to sleep (massage the spot between your eyebrows).
