Usually Christmas decorations make us cringe with too much shiny, too much bright color, too much cheer, too much too much. But JOYCE's is wonderfully bearable.
Arching high above the storefront is a tangled ribbon of red and white fabric -- there's even a touch of gingham -- like a careless arts and crafts project by someone so talented they can make something look great without even trying.
