The Hurley Surf Cup's sun, sea and surfers in action -- what better way to spend a Sunday

Just kidding. Everyone knows the surfing scene is totally legit in Hong Kong, right? That's why the Hurley Surf Cup 2009 was here yesterday and it made for a perfect Sunday. Well, that’s discounting the competition’s 10am start and the hour and a half trek (uphill) it takes to get to Tai Long Wan beach in Sai Kung. Blisters, moans and a spot of sunburn were ultimately worth the effort.
The Hurley Surf Cup’s laid back party atmosphere was a perfect accompaniment to some pretty spectacular surfing as we can see from the surf photos.
