It’s hard to believe that Pixar has been around for 25 years -- why, it seems like only yesterday (1995, eek!) that we were watching "Toy Story."
Yet in the last quarter century, a procession of iconic and loveable characters like Mike and Sully, Wall-E, and The Incredibles have joined Buzz Lightyear and Woody in the hearts of kids and their grown-ups alike.
To commemorate this milestone, the studio is celebrating their art and artists in an exhibition called "Pixar: 25 Years of Animation" on show at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum. The exhibition will feature some never-before-seen artwork, sculptures and animated shorts that are exclusive to Hong Kong, the first destination on their global tour outside of their California home.
March 28 – July 11. 10 a.m. – 6p.m., closed Tuesday. Hong Kong Heritage Museum HK$20 (HK$10 on Wednesday). Exhibition tickets can be purchased at Hong Kong Heritage Museum.
