What's that sound? My Little Airport

A look at twee pop duo My Little Airport on the eve of their new album release

It wasn't until You Tube hit "Donald Tsang, Please Die" (shown above) made rounds on Facebook that Hong Kong twee pop duo My Little Airport gained public recognition.

But indeed singer-songwriters P and Nicole had been entertaining Hong Kong’s indie music fan base for more than eight years. My Little Airport combines childishly sadistic lyrics (often peppered with Chinglish) with chilled-out tunes to produce a unique sound.

Their quirky song titles, such as "I Don't Know How to Download Good AV Like Iris Does" and "Leo, Are You Still Jumping Out of Windows in Expensive Clothes?" makes the group all the more endearing to Hong Kong's irreverent youth.

The group will be releasing a new album by the end of this year. Catch them in concert tonight at Sai Wan Ho’s “Hang Out” tonight. Tickets are HK$ 180 each and are available at the door.

Besides "Donald Tsang, Please Die", here's another great offering from My Little Airport, "A Certain Romance in Kowloon Tong" (Kowloon Tong is known for its many love hotels):
