Hebe Haven Yacht Club

Unpretentious and intimate, Hebe Haven Yacht Club gives new meaning to the words “private yacht club.” Established in 1963, the Club’s modest two-story clubhouse is perched above it’s namesake bay, the picture perfect Hebe Haven itself, which is more commonly known as Pak Sha Wan.

Hebe Haven was one of Hong Kong’s first typhoon shelters, formed back in the day when Sai Kung was still a remote fishing village. Today, the full-fledged yachting club has taken over the shelter, but the club has managed to retain the small village feel of the bay.

Local seafarers can be found pottering around in their time-honored boatyard with cold beers in hand, side by side with yacht club members. The club has 213 moorings, holds yacht races most every weekend and connects to some of the best sailing waters in Hong Kong. Non-members are welcome to set sail with Hebe Haven Yacht Club.
