Cute meets high-tech at the Kitty Lab.Hello Kitty turns 35 this year and Hong Kong is celebrating with a theme park called Kitty Lab that allows fans to design their own Kitty.
Marketing-interactive.com quotes Caroline Tsang, deputy general manager for Sanrio Wave Hong Kong, as saying, "Kitty Lab is not a 'girly type of event' and will appeal to the male segment too."

Enter Kitty Lab's futuristic anime atmosphere and receive your KTA, that's your Kitty's unique DNA housed inside a so-cute-it-hurts-to-look-at-it, cloud-shaped Hello Kitty. Walk through the Kitty city and find 10 stations with interactive games to pick your Kitty's eyes, clothes, bows and more to determine the look and personality of your very own Kitty. The whole experience is about 45 minutes long and costs HK$100. Tsang estimates upwards of 80,000 fans to turn out, although only 400 people are allowed into the Lab at once, so anticipate long queues.
