Christmas wish for Hidden Agenda: To survive

Over 30 of Hong Kong's most loved indie musicians will be gathering on December 24, 25 and December 31 to January 1 for the "Relocation Live!" concerts at the factory-space-turned-music-stage.
After the ultimatum from the Hong Kong Lands Department in June, Hidden Agenda's lease at the Kwun Tong factory building is finally coming to an end this month.
As art and music performances are not stipulated in the lease, the authorities say Hidden Agenda's use of the space violates its contractual obligations.

Hidden Agenda has showcased local musicians since it was founded in 2009. It soon became one of the most popular live music venues and has featured over 300 international artists and local talents.
There is a possibility that Hidden Agenda may not be able to find a new space that they can afford. If so, it will be a double strike for Hong Kong music lovers as another music venue, The Warehouse, lowered its curtain earlier this month.

It's not the first time Hidden Agenda has been forced to move.
Almost two years ago when the government's "industrial building revitalization" act was introduced, the factory building which cradled Hidden Agenda was acquired and they were asked to move out.
At that time, they managed to survive and relocate on the money raised from a two-day farewell concert. Fingers crossed they survive again.
