Hong Kong's Sri Lankan community bring the noise and the color like no other and are a massive part of the 'Sixes experience.
The Hong Kong Cricket Sixes is back with a bang at the end of this month.
Extended to three days instead of two, the Cricket Sixes heralds the return of the much-loved Woodworm All Stars team, with star players bearing the nicknames "Master Blaster" (Sri Lankan Legend Sanath Jayasuriya) and "Boom Boom" (Pakistani slogger Shahid Afridi).
The six-a-side format means this is cricket played at break-neck speed. Featuring some of the biggest hitters, fastest bowlers and one of the noisiest, most colourful crowds you'll find at any Hong Kong sporting event.
Unlike the Rugby Sevens event in March that is pretty much dominated by western expats and tourists, the Kowloon Cricket Club will be flooded with cricket-mad Desis.
Along with Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka, the big guns of England, Australia and South Africa will all feature in the 12-team tournament, battling it out for the US$50,000 grand prize.
Tickets can be purchased at HK Ticketing and at the door
