Decade-ance: The It party for Hong Kong's gay and lesbian crowd
The Hong Kong gay and lesbian community will be hard-pressed to find a spot better than Arbuthnot Road to usher in the new year come December 31.
Decade-ance, a massive LGBT countdown bash spanning three venues, covers some 7,000 sq feet of partying space and joins together two LGBT powerhouses in Hong Kong: lesbian group Les Peches and gay glossy Dim Sum Magazine.
For an entrance fee of HK$320, revelers get access to Les Peches’ base at No. 10 (10 Arbuthnot Road), Dim Sum Magazine’s venue at Box Thai (4-8 Arbuthnot Road), and Kolours (formerly DYMK, 16 Arbuthnot Road), the latest gay bar in town.
This is the first time Hong Kong's gay and lesbian communities are co-organizing a New Year’s Eve party of this scale.
Tickets are available at Kolours and comes with a complimentary flute of champagne. Pre-sale Decade-ance VIP tickets costs HK$888 and includes access to the special Dim Sum Magazine VIP area, party nibbles and a bottle of Deutz Brut Classic Champagne.
