2010 (im)possible dream: Become an eBay millionaire with Web Wednesdays
Monthly online entrepreneur/internet geek fest, Web Wednesdays kicks off in Hong Kong tomorrow with Singaporean web mogul Benjamin Marc Wee, a.k.a. “That eBay Guy.”
Wee built his considerable fortune selling everything from textbooks to PS3s on his eBay account and now he’s teaching average Joes like us to do the same with his book “How to Become an eBay Millionaire.”
Check out the video interview with Wee above, where he exudes Zen-like calmness while showing people how to make fake henna tattoos out of stockings.
Web Wednesdays will be held on January 6 at Backstage Live at HK$100 per head, including a complimentary drink. Students can get in for HK$50 without the free booze.
A tenth of the entrance fees will go to Oxfam’s Unwrapped Gift Campaign, which provides livestock to Chinese rural farmers.
