Her not-actually Royal Highness graciously agrees to meet hoi polloi at the apm mall
Double take Kate: Middleton (left) and Bevan (right).Kate Bevan looks a lot like princess-to-be Kate Middleton. So much so, that she has quit her job to take on gigs as a Middleton impersonator. Now she's coming to Hong Kong.
"I went out to buy a sandwich and I was stopped four times by people in the street," Bevan, a former pharmaceutical assistant, told the Daily Mail. Everyone thought they had bumped into Prince William's fiancée.
The 21-year-old Englishwoman, who is eight years younger than the royal bride-to-be, has been working hard at elocution lessons to replace her West Midlands accent with more sophisticated tones.
Bevan will be at the apm mall until April 22 to meet and greet shoppers, and demonstrate her newly perfected upper class mannerisms to anyone who is interested.
The mall will host a Royal Wedding exhibition until April 30, where more than 100 souvenirs commemorating the event will be on display. A live broadcast of the wedding will also take place on April 29 at the mall.
