Sushi Hiro

In a city where the popularity of Japanese food is manifested as conveyor-belt sushi chains with fake crab roe on everything, Sushi Hiro stands out with their exquisitely prepared sushi and omakase -- a meal akin to eating at the chef's table.

Omakase means "up to you (the chef)" in Japanese and is a meal specially prepared by the head chef, Yoshinobu Hiroi, himself using the best ingredients of the day. Diners spend about HK$1,000 each for a ten-course meal of creatively crafted dishes made from the freshest fish, showcasing the chef's true talents. Sushi Hiro imports their fish from six top seafood markets in Japan, so you can expect in-season cuts of fresh fish all year round.
