SML restaurant Hong Kong
One of SML's signature dishes, the crispy pork belly

The smart folks at the Press Room Group have come up with SML, a concept that solves real diners’ problems.

Thus far, diners suffering from chronic indecisiveness who want to have everything on the menu, have had to annoyingly pick off from their friends' plates at restaurants, or choose the indulge-and-run (10 kilometers) option. But now we have SML where “democracy comes in 3 sizes." Every single dish on SML’s menu is available in small, medium or large portions -- why didn't we think of that?

From appetizers and salads to meaty mains, it is now possible to try nearly everything on SML's comfort food menu. In one sitting for two people, we had a small, creamy, baked macaroni with cauliflower cheese (HK$38), a small linguini with sea urchin and chili oil ($52), small salmon tartare ($32), refreshing small beetroot salad with feta ($24) and still had room for a decadent, guilt-free-portioned dessert: a single cream-filled caramel profiterole with butterscotch sauce ($18).
