Five world-class mixologists from New York, Osaka and Melbourne will be making top-notch cocktails at Hong Kong's MO Bar until June 17.

The master bartenders made their names at hubs of cocktail connoisseurship around the world, such as New York's Pegu Club and Death & Co.

For the next three evenings, MO Bar's cocktail menu will take on special themes to showcase the visiting bartenders' skills.

Tonight Michael Madrusan will serve pre-Prohibition classics made with homemade bitters and hand-carved ice.

Aussie cocktail expert Madrusan was part of the original bar team at PDT in New York and he became really well known during his time at Milk & Honey and Little Branch. He is currently opening the newest branch of Milk & Honey in Melbourne.

Tomorrow will be about East meets West flavors using local ingredients and cutting-edge techniques with two bartending heavyweights from opposite ends of the earth.

Award-winning mixologist Shoki Sato is the owner of Beso in Osaka and has trained many of Japan's best mixologists. Eben Freeman hails from New York and is known as “The Professor of Mixology” with more than 20 years at New Yorks' reputable bars including Spring Lounge, The Collins Bar and wd-50.

Friday night is Tiki theme night brought to us by none other than 2010 International Bartender of the Year Brian Miller. After garnering awards at Pegu Club and Death & Co., Miller immersed himself in Tiki culture and started a Tiki cocktails revival in New York.

In addition, Marshall Altier will also be at MO Bar. Altier has worked with luminaries of the culinary world such as Marco Canora, Zak Pelaccio, and Sam Mason and has been on the opening teams of New York’s top cocktail haunts like Death & Co, Tailor, BoBo, Crosby Bar and 1534.

For the hardcore epicureans, MO Bar will serve a five-course dinner each night for 12 guests paired with cocktails made tableside by two of the master mixologists. The latest trends and techniques will be showcased and used to revive classic cocktails.

With only one table for 12 guests (HKD 14,500 plus 10 percent service charge) available per night, guests who wish to experience this original experience are advised to make advanced bookings. For enquiries, please call MO Bar on +852 2132 0077.
