Unapologetic chick drink of the week: Strawberry kiss
Take chocolate-dipped strawberries, that classic girly treat, douse it in alcohol and you get Yu Club's strawberry kiss cocktail, one of the most effeminate drinks known to modern Hong Kong history.
Made of fresh strawberries, strawberry liquor, vodka and a dusting of cocoa powder on the rim, girls order the drink "because it looks like a chocolate cake,” says Yu Club manager and mixologist Jeff Cheng.
Intensely fruity with just a hint of alcohol, it's so yummy Yu Club's female regulars don't even mind the cocoa powder mustache that results from drinking it and have developed lovely ways of licking it off.
