Unapologetic chick drink of the week: Nothing cocktail
Bartender Milan at Aqua Spirit Bar throws together a uniquely Hong Kong drink -- the Nothing. If you’re not from Hong Kong, you’ve probably never heard of the syrupy concoction called the Nothing cocktail. That's because the homegrown bevvie has never really made it outside of the city despite being spectacularly popular here.
Made with Midori, Malibu rum and pineapple juice, Hong Kongers regularly throw back round after round of the saccharine drink in shot glasses at swanky nightclubs, allowing the mild alcoholic buzz and sharp sugar high to lead them to the dance floor. Don't worry if you can't find it on a menu -- every decent barman in town should know how to put together a Nothing. Though, we’re never disappointed with the ones at Aqua Spirit Bar.
