Joyce is not here: For the frustrated artist

Joyce is not here is cluttered with artwork and bric-a-brac, flooded by moody blue lights, Owner Joyce Baker's (and don't worry she is almost always there) bar is that unaffectedly charming hangout with a certain je ne sais quoi that frustrated artists can go to for inspiration. 

Joyce is not here attracts a range of journalist-types, designers and artists as well as Soho residents who just want to grab a drink near home, and everyone is entertained by Baker, the gracious hostess herself.

The Wednesday night open mic poetry readings are a sanctuary for budding wordsmiths, while Thursday jam nights guarantees a musical ruckus for all willing instrumentalists. There is a discount on beer and wine during the cheekily named “Sad Hour” from 4-8pm.
