Don't mind our shameless plug for the new CNN iPhone app. It's good and well worth promoting
CNN's new iPhone app is slick, very slick.CNN has just released the CNN iPhone app (iTunes link - cost $1.99). Yes, we realize and admit we are a sister company, but this app is worth a plug because we like it. Only downside is that it is available only in the United States right now -- but watch this space for details of an international version.
Features: a unique way to browse headlines, My CNN, video with live breaking news, and an iReport feature that brings citizen journalism to a new level.
It's not just us -- leading social media website Mashable gave a glowing review of the new CNN iPhone app -- now available to download from the Apple App Store.
In the review, Mashable's Ben Parr said, "To say we’re impressed with this app is an understatement. CNN went all-out with features and functionality, but did it in a way that’s simple and easy to use and consume. The app sets a new standard in functionality and even has the potential to change the news game with its iReport integration. It’s the complete package."
