Wish you were here -- Koh Talu
Just 10 minutes from Koh Samet lies one of Thailand's popular island-hopping destinations

Head up the craggy cliff and you'll find a little piece of paradise.Sometimes you don't realise how far you are from paradise. You could be worlds away, or in this case, an island away. From Koh Samet, a mere ten-minute speedboat ride and you are at the doorstep of Koh Talu, a popular island now part of a tourist island-hopping program. And thus throughout the day this island is populated with foreigners. However, if you have quite the eccentric speedboat driver (who is also your tour guide) as we did, you will be lucky enough to be taken up a mountainous and steep path to a cliff overhanging a blow hole. On arriving, you start to feel like you’re at the location where U2 shot their "Vertigo" music video, and then you know you are in paradise.
