CNN video: Seoul has some serious design ambitions
From high tech designer cell phones to fashion and city planning, Seoul is pushing ahead with new and ambitious design ideas

Nevermind the dull concrete tower blocks of the Seoul city skyline or the heavy traffic, Seoul has design ambitions. CNN's Kristie Lu Stout reports that Seoul is transforming itself into the world's design center. New design projects and ambitions range from fashion, to city planning, with Dongdaemun Design park which is slated to be finished by 2011.
LG Electronics is also getting into the Seoul design foray with new and innovative phones, such as the LG D900 Crystal (for more awesome Asian mobiles click here.)
Will the Seoul design push pay off? We'll find out in a couple of years.
