There are online networks for safely meeting new people and local contacts, so that travelling businesswomen never have to walk, or dine, alone

Women business travellers often go through the uncomfortable experience of dining alone -- options are room service or braving the hotel restaurant. But there are websites that connect lone businesswomen who can start to enjoy dinner and network at the same time.
Among the options, Maiden Voyage and Global Dinner Network -- the latter puts women travelling solo in touch with local businesswomen for dinner, conversation and contacts.The video is part of this month's CNN Business Traveller, which looks at the future of travel.
