S.H.E pop star Selina Jen returns to Taiwan after terrifying accident
Hebe Tian, Selina Jen and Ella Chen, members of Taiwanese pop group S.H.E Selina Jen of Taiwanese pop group S.H.E returned to Taiwan yesterday after suffering serious burns to 40 percent of her body while filming a TV drama in Shanghai over the weekend [Source].
After multiple practice runs, the accident occurred when explosives went off earlier than planned during filming. Both Jen and co-star Ham Yu Haoming sustained serious burns.
S.H.E member Ella Chen wrote on Sina yesterday, "Ham, you need to also hang in there. I will pray for you. Hope you get better soon, so you can continue to do your best for yourself and the ones you love."
Jen was welcomed back to Taipei by a horde of media and journalists. Following the chaotic media welcome, an ambulance rushed Jen to Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital and Family Burn center.
"I wish I could endure the suffering for her, even at the cost of my life," said Jen's father in a statement.
