Besides an affinity for making disaster movies, what does "Aftershock" director Feng Xiaogang and Matthew McConaughey ("Surfer Dude," "Fool's Gold," "Sahara," "Reign of Fire," "Failure to Launch," etc) have in common?
They were both at the celebrity pro-am Mission Hills Star Trophy tournament this weekend in Haikou, Hainan along with a bevvy of other A-listers and pro-golfers like Michael Phelps, Hugh Grant, Simon Yam, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Greg Norman, Annika Sörenstam and Se Ri Pak.
But probably the luckeist golfer on the star studded course had to be Annika Sörenstam as she was partnered with ultra hottie Zeta-Jones.
Hong Kong actor and comedian Eric Tsang and Taiwanese golfer Candie Kung won the "Professional-Celebrity Champion Team" trophy while Zeta-Jones and Sörenstam finished low on the scorecard.
But honestly who cares.
Following Zeta-Jones for 18 holes would be reward in and of itself.
Real golf
Before the celebs hit the links on day five of the tournament, Mexico's Lorena Ochoa won the first Star Trophy after Colin Montgomerie was penalized two-shots for moving an advertising board.
No ads were harmed by Monty after the incident.
