Tired of Dreamliner updates yet? Neither are we.

The first image of Japan Airline's (JAL) new Boeing 787 Dreamliner has been released by Boeing, showing off the JAL livery.

The jet's tail wears the new JAL logo, which is based on the airline's original symbol, first registered in 1959.

The iconic red-crown crane in full flight is “an auspicious icon of Japan representing the high spirits of the Japanese people and their sensitive attention to detail,” according to JAL.

The twin-engine jet airliner seats up to 290 passengers and is the world’s most fuel efficient airplane, using 20 percent less fuel than other planes in its weight class.

The plane broke records in speed and distance last week in a 42.5-hour trip around the world.

Boeing has taken more than 800 orders for the new aircraft from 58 customers around the world.
