Eco Kids Camp a breath of fresh air for Bangkok parents

Send the kiddies to Khao Yai for a weekend of green living and learning

Bangkok-based Plant-A-Tree-Today (PATT) is giving the city’s parents a chance to ditch the kids for the weekend and teach them some environmentally sound practices in the process.

For the second year in a row a PATT is putting on Eco Kids Camps, which take place over two weekends. This year's camps are happening at Khao Yai National Park and leave from Bangkok. Kids will take ecologist-led nature walks, plant some trees, spot some wildlife, take part in recycling activities, visit a science museum and play outdoor games.

There’s the 2-day overnight option from December 12-13 at 3,500 baht per child for ages 8-12 or the 3-day, 2-night trip on December 21-23 at 4,000 baht per child for 6-12 year olds. Price includes meals, drinks, snacks, T-shirt, cap, photo, certificate and accomodation.
