Chakrabongse Villas was a former royal residence, home to one of King Rama V’s sons, but has since been modernized so you can live it up like they did in the past without any of that inconvenient suffering.
Most of the city’s best cultural sights are within walking distance, but if you feel like being flashy, arrange to travel on their private boat instead. Otherwise you won’t do much seeing or being seen, but most guests like it that way.
