Tuba
Shop by day, bar by night. Everything in Tuba is for sale.

By day, Tuba is a furniture and antiques showroom -- a “grandma’s attic” full of relics like old TV sets and semi-professional paintings of fruit bowls. By night, the gallery/restaurant’s lights are dimmed, its bar is opened and the treasure trove turns into one of Bangkok’s most relaxing after work scenes.

While the food at this sprawling Italian/Thai eatery is fine, Tuba is most loved for its generous happy hour. The signaure mojitos, which are served in super-sized goblets and margarita glasses (there is little consistency in glassware), are especially popular with the nightly crowds.

Tuba’s two-story space, which one might describe as eclectically and charmingly cluttered, is full of nooks and comfy chairs (and they're all up for sale), perfect for lots of friends to gather, enjoy and maybe even shop for furniture.
