High-class cast-offs at the Bangkok Clutter Sale
Bangkok's NewsMakers, a group of high profile editors and communications professionals, launched the first Clutter Sale back in 2006. Unworn dresses, brand name purses and antique decor will all be part of the wares on sale at this Saturday’s Clutter Sale for Charity at Bangkok’s Four Seasons Hotel.
Now in its fifth year, the event is organized by Bangkok’s “Newsmakers,” a group of high profile media, public relations and design professionals.
The event gives bargain hunters a chance to purchase the discarded treasures of Thai celebs, wealthy locals and members of the diplomatic community, while businesses also donate surplus stock as well.
Besides vintage clothes, fashion accessories, crystal and silverware, home accessories, sports equipment and antiques, this year will feature a "Chic Corner" for donated brand names, say organizers.
The “Clutter Sale for Charity” will be held on Saturday, October 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Grand Ballroom of the Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok. Proceeds from the event will go to the Genetic Cancer Research Centre at Chulalongkorn Hospital.
